Regional Sector Partnerships

Northwest Connecticut Healthcare Partnership
NRWIB’s Healthcare Sector Partnership (NW HealthConnect) brings together hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, educators, and workforce professionals to strengthen the region’s healthcare talent pipeline. By identifying shared hiring challenges and training needs, the partnership helps create innovative solutions to grow and retain a skilled healthcare workforce in Northwest Connecticut.
To get involved, contact Jennifer Murphy-Pitcher and help shape the future of healthcare in our region.

Launched through a collaboration between local Chambers of Commerce, industry leaders, and the Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board, the Northwest Connecticut Manufacturing Partnership is the region’s first industry-led, community-supported effort to strengthen the manufacturing workforce.
As part of the state’s Next Generation Sector Partnership model, the goal is simple but bold: to build a pipeline of skilled talent, promote the value of manufacturing careers, and align education and training programs with real-time industry needs.
