Good Jobs: Manufacturing and Healthcare

The "Good Jobs Challenge" program focuses on two key Regional Sector Partnership initiatives: Northwest Manufacturing and Northwest Healthcare.

For Northwest Manufacturing, we aim to establish a strong partnership to address talent needs, raise awareness of manufacturing careers, and expand the talent pipeline. Our goal is to recruit, enroll, and provide supportive services and case management to 124 clients, with 105 successfully completing training and securing job placements.

Similarly, Northwest Healthcare is dedicated to building partnerships, addressing talent needs, increasing career awareness, and expanding the talent pipeline in the healthcare sector. We plan to recruit, enroll, and provide supportive services and case management to 189 clients, with 161 completing training and securing job placements.

This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number ED22HDQ3070186, awarded to the State of Connecticut Office of Workforce Strategy by the U.S. Department of Economic Development Administration.
