Don't sleep on the construction trade - there's plenty to do!

Construction is a buzzing industry – especially in Connecticut! If you typically think of new construction, don’t hesitate to ‘build outside the box’. Schools need improvements, highways and bridges are in dire need of repairs in addition to more terminals for transportation that need improvements. Construction also benefits from the use of new technology, whether its new mapping or efficient machinery, significant safety measures are also gained.

The silver lining of COVID protocols is job growth in construction especially with school improvements to adhere to safety guidelines for the protection of students and staff. Most major projects in our state are school projects that vastly improve the conditions of school, implement safety measures, and expand to a growing population.

The importance to do better for the planet, as well as save money on energy costs, is more important than ever before.

Highway and road construction put in place in the United States is projected to grow to about $103 billion by 2022. The Mixmaster project in Waterbury seems like it will never end its growing lists of repairs and improvements. The project consists of deck repairs and replacements, steel repairs, substructure repairs, joint repairs, and other general repairs. This project grew and grew over the years and 84 has other projects going on east and west bound.
