Helping Returning Citizens Begin the Path to Successful Employment

The Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board’s Project Reentry is designed to help returning citizens (ex-offender population) begin their path to successful employment, attain industry recognized credentials, and gain the skills needed for their next step.


Program Details

The program provides intensive case management and consists of:

  • Assessments
  • Work readiness boot camp training
  • Individualized employment planning
  • Career coaching
  • Occupational skills training
  • Specialized workshops
  • Job placement

The two-week work readiness boot camp training consists of the following topics:

  • Job-related terminology
  • Basic math, reading and writing skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Communication skills
  • Work readiness skills
  • “Research Your Next Move to a Career Pathway” for Manufacturing, Information Technology and Construction

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be returning citizens.
